The client had grown to be the dominant player in its home market and needed to enter new markets in order to grow further.
RESULT
Management Services Int conducted in depth research into potential new markets. A recommendation was made to focus initially on English speaking markets as this would optimize the use of the existing marketing and production tools in which the client had large investments.
The USA was proposed as the largest market, however as the East and West coasts were saturated markets it was proposed that the Mid-West would make a easier transition into the US market.
After analyzing the the Mid-West market and the culture it was recommended that an relatively small acquisition would be the quickest route into market. Management Services Int identified the acquisition target and conduction initial negotiations. The client then completed the acquisition and has since become the dominant player in the chosen market and has spread out into new territories within the USA.
Since the transitional into the USA, Management Services Int has assisted the client to enter the UK and Australian markets.
